Instagram + Allable — common questions
- How does Instagram connect to Allable?
- Via Facebook OAuth — Instagram Business accounts are managed through Facebook. You authorize Allable to publish and read insights on your connected Instagram Business profile.
- Does Allable work with personal Instagram profiles?
- No. Instagram's API only supports Business and Creator accounts. You'll need to switch to a Business or Creator account first.
- Is my Instagram data safe?
- Allable reads your Instagram insights only within your project workspace. It is never shared with other users and is not used to train shared models.
- Does this integration cost extra?
- No. The Instagram integration is included in all Allable plans.
- What content types can Allable publish to Instagram?
- Photos, carousels (multi-image), and reels. Stories publishing is not currently supported by the Instagram API.
